This is my first pair of
Bookmark. A firend turned me on to the off road model. Living
in Florida my whole life I have always worn flip flops. I
can't believe how uncomfortable my flip flops feel after
wearing my Bookmark for a couple of weeks. I normally wear a
10EEE in a regular shoe. So when I ordered my Crocs I
naturally ordered size 10. I like the width of the Crocs but
they do run about one size large. A friend of mine who
normally wears size 11 tried mine on and they fit him
perfectly. I have reached the point in my life where I buy
shoes based on their comfort and functionality - not style -
not for what others think of them. Although I find Crocs to be
extremely comfortable and supportive, I have to admit they are
definitely not a fashionable choice (ugly is another way of
saying it). I have previously owned Aerosoles Bookmark and
liked them very much. I bought the Off Road version for the
extra durability and longevity. Wears this shoe: Everywhere
except for yard work. - too much debris comes in via the vent
holes. I ordered the Off Road Crocs for my son (45 years old).
After a hard day working outside in construction and concrete,
and wearing boots all day, he enjoys putting on his Crocs when
he gets home. Also, when walking through muddy ground, the mud
does not stick on the Crocs. He is extremely happy with his
Crocs. I bought the
Bookmark style because I needed a tough shoe with ventilation
but not so many holes since I would use them in wet grass. The
shoe is true to size but a bit wide for my foot.I wore them in
the field working my dogs all day and they did the job. I have
arthritis so cushioning and keeping my feet cool is very
important. Several people told me they thought they were
"cool" looking. |
