This is my second pair of
British Isles, my first might have been Caymans. These are
somewhat tighter than my other pair. I suppose that is part of
the design since they are presented as a more athletic
'outdoors' type of shoe. And I would agree with that they are.
I like the styling and it's a bit more shoe over the regular
Crocs. Good toe protection but well-ventilated. The thicker
sole keeps your feet dry when walking on wet surfaces and they
just hose off clean. My 21 year old son, who thought Crocs
were sissy-looking wears them continuously and it's helped his
chronic foot pain. My first pair of Crocs and it wont be my
last. I wear them every day to work and everyone makes fun of
me for wearing them with socks. TO BAD for them! Great shoe. I
love the feel of the shoe, however they make me look like I
have clown feet. Bought the size that I wear and they are
definitely too big, but they are great for hanging out at the
house in. I wanted a pair of the British Isles Beach. But
those sized don't fit me right. One size is too small the next
would just flop around. I purchased the Off Road because it
has an adjustable strap, which fixed the problem I have with
the beach series. As a bonus the Aerosoles has a better sole,
more traction and slightly thicker. Much more comfortable,
supportive, and durable than regular British Isles. Toe box
reinforcement is a huge plus--as is the thicker sole. |
