I bought these Crocs at my
son's request because he spends all day on his feet at his job
in heavy boots. His feet always hurt at the end of the day and
he wanted shoes that would be comfortable for ordinary wear.
He had tried Canyen on at the local shoe stores but had never
worn them for any length of time. From Minute One of receipt,
however, he was in love with these shoes. (I tried them on,
too, and though they're yards too big for me, I felt instant
relief from my plantar fasciitis in the few steps I took with
them and I plan to get my own.) He wore them in wet conditions
and claims they have better traction than the boots he wears
as a volunteer firefighter. There are more Crocs in his future
and probably mine, too. I bought these shoes for my husband
who loves Crocs. He liked them because he said they looked
more manly than regular Crocs. Very satisfied! I love my new
Off Road Crocs! The color combinations are cool and the
overall design is more interesting than the standard issue.
One thing about Aerosoles though is they seem to run a good
size larger than they say. I know they are meant to be loose
but I've found that a 10 works fine for me, and I usually wear
shoes anywhere between 11 & 12. Even if they are a bit small
at first the material of the foot bed will compress a little
over time. My son has very large, wide feet--he LOVES his
Canyen! They are the only shoes he wears, and the off-roads
have better traction and last longer than the regular Crocs!
This version of the Croc is great for working outdoors in a
variety of elements. I work in grass, dirt, gravel, sand etc.
this shoe is very comfortable and adjusts to the uneven
terrain nicely. Since buying my first pair of Crocs, I won't
work in anything but Crocs. No Leg pain even after a 12 - 15
hour day. Bought Off Road instead of the original Canyen we
have enjoyed for years. My sons tell me that the Off Roads are
more manly man. They are great for muddy situations. Spray
them off and you're good to go. |
