Having flat feet has always
created issues for me and shoes, finally a shoe that fits
great, feels great, & the off road design makes it a little
cooler looking then the normal Aerosoles. These are by far the
lightest and most comfortable shoes ever! My Father-in-Law is
89 yrs. old. He has Parkinson's disease and has a lot of
balance problems. We have had a lot of trouble with him
falling while taking a shower. A Nurse recommended the Crocs
for him to wear while he showers. She said these shoes would
make it almost impossible for him to slip and fall in wet
conditions. They worked great! My husband likes this shoe
because of the thicker sole and traction. Also, it's good for
walking through the dirt since there are no holes in the
front, unlike the Caymans. I was just recently able to try my
new Cleanslate after having suffered a sprained ankle. I still
had a wrap on my foot, but the adjustable strap of the Off
Road made it an easy, comfortable walking shoe. I felt stable
and supported. I really like these Cleanslate. I expected the
size and width to be larger than marked so I ordered
accordingly. People not familiar with Crocs sizing might be
surprised. These Cleanslate Shoes are certainly sturdier than
the ones I usually buy for work. I like the velcro sling back
as it can be adjusted for use with and without socks. However,
I suspect that the velcro will pick up bits of trail after
awhile and be less effective. The toe cover is great for trail
use - I haven't stubbed my toes at all. The shoe is still
cool, even with the reduced number of ventilation holes. I
resisted Cleanslate for a long time but am so glad I finally
gave in and bought them. Now I have three pair and they are
basically all I live in whenever possible. Light, comfortable,
durable, breathable, great for being on your feet a long time
and being active - and best of all - you can rinse them with a
hose and they look like new. Everytime I wear them to the
office or around someone new, they end up buying a pair for
themselves. |
