To me, this shoe has good shock
absorption. I also found that it has really good balance--I
think because the sole is slightly wider that the body of the
shoe. Also, it makes my foot feel supported! And another
superior feature--it has no laces; they slip on and off. I did
need to reorder it in an extra wide size; I found that for me,
the medium width (which is the width I take) was too narrow.
And even though I reordered it in the "extra wide" size
(because this style doesn't come in a wide width), on me the
extra wide size fits the same as medium width fits on me. I
work as a Medical Assistant in an Emergency Dept. I work 12 hr
shifts. Decade Boots shoes have been great for my weary feet!
This is a classy and stylish shoe from Aerosoles Decade. No
bother with laces and easy to put on. Also very comfortable as
an everyday walking shoe. I bought these shoes for our trip to
California. I can walk in these all day and my feet do not
hurt. I really like this shoe for the comfort, support and
appearance. I keep hoping that Decade will not discontinue
this style, as I really like not having to deal with
shoestrings! It's a great walking shoe and is very durable.
What a super comfortable shoe--the first time I put it on and
wore it. I love them! I walk about 3 miles everyday. From the
first day until now, 6 months later, these shoes still have
all the support and comfort. Also, now that the weather is
about 30 degrees in the north, I don't feel the cold under the
shoe. |
